Samsung Galaxy Tab A
We now have the opportunity to review this tablet from Samsung. It comes in a sleek black body. It has cameras on front and back. The same edge buttons for power/restart and volume. The buttons for (back, home, task) are on the screen(not the frame), which has some (advantages, disadvantages) over being on the frame. These 3 buttons will always be at the bottom of the screen. You won't accidentally turn on the tablet by pressing the home button while it's still in the carry case.

First thing you need to do when setting it up with the setup wizard is to be sure you are on an unlimited WiFi network. If you try to do this step from a shared Hotspot, you are gonna blow through more than 2gb before you can get out of the setup wizard. (Be Warned!)

Compass: none
GPS: Yes
Tilt Sensor: yes
USB C: no
USB OTG: yes
Camera(front): yes
Camera(back): yes
Data Carriers: AT&T, MintMobile, will add more

Now for the good/bad news.

Overall it's a nice tablet, with a decent camera which allows you to tap the screen to focus on objects.

With the missing compass, you will never be able to use Google Sky Map or Google maps 3d look around.
